TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS WILL APPLY IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES WHEN WE HAVE BEEN INSTRUCTED TO MOVE A VEHICLE, WHETHER THAT BE A VERBAL OR WRITTEN INSTRUCTION AND WITH OR WITHOUT AN ORDER NUMBER.

BOOKINGS

Requests for quotes need to be send to autolink@email.com

Email confirmation is needed to confirm you are happy to proceed and if needed a PO number must be sent once a quote has been accepted.

Vehicles must be confirmed and ready to collect on-site by the booking dealer. All outstanding charges on the vehicle (PDI’s, cleaning, Storage, full cost of vehicle. Etc) must be paid for before booking with us.

ABORTS

We will abort jobs if the following arises once we arrive at the collecting dealer

Vehicle has outstanding fees PDI’s, cleaning, Storage, full cost of vehicle. Etc

Vehicle is not on site at the collecting dealer.

Collecting dealer will not release the vehicle.

Damage on the vehicle.

All aborts will be charged full price of the job quoted.

CANCELLATION

 Any cancellation within 1 working day of the booking start time will incur full 100% fee of job value.

Any cancellation within 2 working days of the booking start time will incur a 50% fee until 24hrs hours prior to job commencement then 100% fee applies.

Any cancellation over 2 working days notice will not incur any fee.

EXTRA CHARGES

Outside of the mileage agreed for the job, any extra mileage is charged at £3 per mile or as agreed.

We reserve the right to change any of these terms if required without prior warning.

WAITING TIME

Our drivers expect to be on site awaiting a collection no longer than 30 minutes. Waiting time is charged to the booking dealer at a rate of £40 + VAT per 30 minute wait after the initial 30 minutes. We may abort the job at anytime and a abort fee would be charged as well as waiting time. The charge is made due to the delay in the drivers time and the effect of the amount of scheduled jobs that the driver needs to complete.

VEHICLE CONDITION REPORT

Our drivers/appraisers will ask you to sign a vehicle condition report on delivery of the vehicle to you. Once the vehicle has been inspected and the vehicle condition report has been signed by you or by a represenative of your company Auto Link Transport will have no further liability and cannot be held liable for its condition or be responsible for any future claims as to its roadworthiness, mechanical or cosmetic condition.

DAMAGE IN TRANSIT

Like most motor trade insurance policies our insurance does not cover punctures, glass damage or damage from road debris. This is deemed to be no fault of Auto Link Transport as the damage would occur whoever was in charge of the vehicle.
